Hello Ken, Your question is well timed! I am attending the American Academy of Pediatrics meeting this weekend and heard a pediatric laryngologist speak on voice problems. While there are different causes of voice problems, reflux can have a role in causing a hoarse voice. You may want to ask the GI doctor about getting a referral to a Ears, Nose and Throat doctor (otolaryngologist) or a Laryngologist.
