Hello Mrs. Doble,

Wow-there is a lot going on-your grand daughter has some wet belches and vomiting. More recently, she had her tonsils out and took antibiotics. Certainly the tonsils and antibiotics may upset her stomach. However, it sounds like she had some vomiting even before the tonsils were out. Best to check this out with her regular doctor such as the pediatrician or family doctor.

Meanwhile, it will really help the doctor if you write down how often she vomits each day for the next week so you can tell the doctor how often this is occurring. Her diet may increase vomiting too so write down a sample menu for 1-3 days. If she is drinking tea with caffeine, it could upset her stomach too. I wonder if you could give her water or milk for a few days to see if this settles her stomach too.

Let me know what you find out. Jan
