I had always felt bloated and seemed to have dirreaha a lot . I gained a lot of weight while on this medication. I recently read where porlonged use of Protonix could cause medical problems. My pharmacist said get off of it but would not say why other than it could cause cell changes from long time use..but would not say what they were. So9 about 6 weeks ago I stopped taking it and have lost about 7 or 8 pounds without trying. My dirreaha is a lot better
Wanting to ask anyone if they have had this happen to them on the weight gain and loss from taking it and then not taking it. Any reply will be greatly appreciated
