Yes, it is possible for acid reflux to cause vomiting. However, if this is occurring every morning then their likely is other factors contributing to the vomiting. One possibility is GERD ( Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease). Some symptoms other than vomiting are frequent heartburn more than three times a week, Heartburn that returns after your antacid wears off, weight loss, regurgitated blood and difficulty swallowing. If you experience at least two of these symptoms you should consult your physcian and have them run tests on you to see if GERD is a possibility.
