Q: I have suffered from reflux problems for over 2 years now

I've had the urea breath test done negative, the camera down...they just confirmed that i had acid in my gut, none of the treatments i have been put on have any effect, nexium 40m with no easing of the symptoms.i eat well,i am not a heavy drinker or smoker and excerise regulary,i recently got a medical from my local GP and he was praising my physical condition,im 47 by the way 5ft 7 and 10 and a half stone. The reflux attacks come and go,lasting for up to 3wks then ease off, they consist of a feeling of peanuts caught in your upper gut and pain on my right side from the kidney area up to my lung,my bowles work normaly,i dont suffer from the runs or constipation, but its the pain on my right side that i want to ask has anyone suffered this with reflux.
