Hi Cheryl,   Thank you for your question. From what you've said, I don't know exactly what you're looking for. I don't know if you've tried anything else, or even if you're treating yourself (as opposed to a child or spouse). I can still try to give you some useful information. Prilosec is an over-the-counter Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). It is the only PPI availabe over the counter, but there are several more available with a prescription (Nexium, Protonix, Aciphex, and Prevacid). There is another class of medications that is available over the counter, called H2 Blockers. These include antacids such as Tums and Rolaids, and can be used to treat acid reflux. I would recommend speaking with a doctor or pharmacist so that you can get better information about your particular situation. I hope this helps!    Casey
