my chest hurts and feels like something is caught there

I have been having some chest discomfort sometimes it is pain. Mainly happens at night but not only when i lay down sometimes just sitting watching tv. Feels like there is something caught in my chest and lower throat. When I breathe it feels restricted or like someone is squeezing my esophogaus....
