Hello Judith,

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson Charlie! It must have been so scary to have a sudden breathing problem.

I wonder if your grandson has had any problems with spit up or vomiting. Pyloric stenosis can cause severe bouts of vomiting and projectile vomiting (forceful vomiting). Any signs of that? If the doctor suspects Pyloric Stenosis, a upper GI test is ordered.

Your family will need to watch Charlie carefully for signs of vomiting or breathing problems in the next few weeks.
