Q: is there any relief for pain possibly associated by adhesions from surgery

I have had two ceasarean's shortly after the second I experienced pain in my lower left abdomen. Doctors first thought it was a hernia and operated, the results were no hernia, but a pocket of sepsis after making the first incision and endometrial tissue found on my abdominal wall. Two years passed over this period the pain gradually returned, i decided to have a laproscopic procedure to see if it was endometrial tissue. My doctor saw no sign of endometriosis but removed my left fallopian tube and ovary thinking that one or the other could be causing the pain. It has been 3 weeks since that surgery and the pain is still the same and i have had a menstrual with severe cramping since the surgery.

Hello Denise,

You really need to follow up with the surgeon. Pain after surgery needs to addressed by an expert. Don't hesitate to call or make a follow up appointment.

Good luck,

Jan
