A bad taste in your mouth can be a symptom of acid reflux. Reflux occurs when the stomach contents flow in a reverse direction from your stomach back towards your mouth. For some, the reflux material travels into their mouth (and even into their nose and ears). It may be worth getting checked by an ear, nose, and throat specialist, familiar with extra esophageal reflux. This person could also rule out a sinus condition as the cause of the bad taste in your mouth.
