Q: acid reflux or bleeding ulcer, how do you know the difference?

Hi Melinda,

 

The best thing for you to do would be to see your doctor. While online sites are great for gathering the information you need to manage your health care, it is for information only and can not replace the professional opinion and care of your doctor.

 

You might want to run your symptoms through the symptom checker here. Gastritis is something that can irritate the stomach lining and make it bleed. Barrett's Esophagus also can cause you to bleed.
