I have acid reflux and am afraid it may have progressed to some type of throat cancer because of the length of time I suffered from acid reflux and all theses additional symptoms I am feeling. I also smoked for a period of 12 years and used to drink heavily. I now have constant throat pain, headaches, earaches, pain in the upper part of my back feels like my spine, pain in the front and back of my neck and under my chin and also a dull chest pain usually on the left side but sometimes on the right. The pain comes and goes, sometime when I eat other times I don't need to eat any thing to feel the pain. I also have uncontrollable belching and some stomach pain when I eat. Last year I had H. Pylori and since then my health seems to have deteriorated. The H. pylori is gone but the occasional stomach pain and uncontrollable belching still exist. I had an esohpogoscopy last November and the doctor only found H. pylori which was treated. I have been to a G.I specialist, and two different ENT doctors. All they want to do is keep prescribing me nexium; I am scheduled for a video strobe of my throat later this month. Have you ever heard of all the symptoms from just acid reflux could this have developed in to oral pharyngeal cancer or cancer or some other type of throat cancer?
