Q: Can oral sex trigger acid reflux?

I performed oral sex on my boyfriend one day and i felt like i was going to throw up at least 4 times. At the time i was on antibiotics for a sinus infection. And a month later I'm on antibiotics and my throat is red. Everytime i burp i taste food so I wanted to know if oral sex could have triggered an acid reflux condition. Because I feel like the antibiotics is not curing my throat even though as of right now I'm still on them. Thanks

Antibiotics can cause stomach upset which can in turn cause throat redness and irritaiton. You should tell your doctor that your symptoms are not improving on the antibiotics and tell him you've gotten worse if that is the case. You will want to describe all of the symptoms you are having.
