Dear Carolyn:

I have the same problem with swallowing and pain in my throat. I'm on Nexium twice a day and Ranitidine before bed. Have you ever look into seeing if the companies that make the Drugs will supply you at NO COST if you can't afford the Medicine.  Your Family Dr should be able to help you with that. You can call the company AstraZeneca, I'm sorry I don't know the 800 number. Or check on the computer. I know they advertise on the TV about helping if you can't afford.

I hope I have helped.  Good Luck!
