Q: Persistent cough

I have a peristent cough and pain in my chest and my doctor says it is caused by reflux of acid coming up and entering my lungs.  I am going for a chest x ray what do you think

Thanks for your question. Coughing and chest pain are common symptoms of acid reflux.

 

Your doctor is always your best option when it comes to getting answers about your body. You have the right idea by seeing him or her.
