This is very dependent on the person. I have noticed that if I put milk in my coffee it seems to help my reflux. This is presumably because milk is more of a base and helps neutralize the acidity of the coffee. But, for some, the milk may be difficult to digest or may make things worse. Some people are sensitive to milk and milk products. The best thing to do to determine if a food is helping or hurting is to keep track of your symptoms and then see what happens when you consume it. You need to do it a few times though as one trial could be due to anything. If you consistently have the same results over many trials though then you'll have your answer.
