Q: The lymph nodes in my chest and neck are enlarged and showed HOT on a PET, can reflux cause it

The pain is almost constant and I do not belch. I am scheduled to have a surgeron remove the lymph nodes for biopys.

Thanks for your question. Your lymph nodes are part of the lymphatic system which is part of the immune system. Typically swollen lymph nodes indicate an infection somwhere in your body. Acid Reflux is not an infection and would not typically result in an immune system response. There is probably another reason that your lymph nodes are enlarged. Good luck with the biopsy. I hope you find the answers you need.
