Because your symptoms haven't been helped that much by the medications, you need to go back to the doctor. It is possible that you have H-Pylori, it could also be related to your gall bladder etc. Your doctor made a diagnosis based on the symptoms by now knowing that your symptoms did not improve with the medication it will help him to get a better diagnostic picture.
That said, I'm assuming you've been taking the medication as prescribed for at least a week? It can take a while for it to get in your system and heal any damage.
Lastly, you may want to keep a food/symptom log to see if you notice any patterns in what you eat, your stress level, etc and your symptoms. For example, I discovered that bananas give me terrible heart burn. They aren't on any list but I now know many people who say the same.
Best of Luck and Congratulations!
