What to do about severe constipation?

I have IBS, my Asthma went crazy, on +>40 mg of prednisone since Dec. '07,unable to wean, to hospitalizations for Solumedrol. Last hospital tirp 24 hr Ph study, severe silent reflux. Placed on 40 mg Nexium BID. Call me crazy but I have not been able to have a bowel movement...
