My 6 month old daughter started screaming everyday at 4 weeks old. we've switched formulas 5 times she is now on Nutramigen. She's only threw up twice in her life. She's just now starting to spit up. She screams as if she's in bad pain everyday, she's only content when you carry her. She absolutely hates laying down on the floor. She's just so fussy all the time. Sometimes she refuses solids. She also has wet burps. She's just very clingy and not happy.

Hello Abby's Mom,

Have you discussed the symptoms with the doctor? Does the doctor think she has reflux? It might be a good idea to write down the symptoms such as crying and fussing you are seeing at home. does she fuss during or after a meal? At night? Gulp, swallow hard, suddenly cry out? struggle to eat?

Diet and positioning are wonderful treatments and may reduce or eliminate symptoms. If pain persists, the doctor may consider other treatments such as medication. It is probably time to re visit the treatment with the doctor and get some assistance with the pain management.

Hang in there! Jan
