Does anyone else with acid reflux experience eggy smelling fowl burps that once they start you know eventually you will vomit.  I have had recently an endoscophy.  I have read online many people experience this with and without acid reflux or gall bladders. I have it happen once every couple months or so but just dread it so and am not sure what could trigger or cause it. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Coffeebean,

I am not sure why you are getting the eggy smell (which indicates a sulfur component) but you can read about the nausea and vomiting here. It is probably best that you see your doctor to make sure you are not experiencing anything with your pancreas, as pancreatitis can also cause symptoms similar to what you are experiencing.

Take care and stay in touch!

Hi,

I suffer with the exact same problem and i've had it for a few years now, i went to see my local doctor he thought it was something i was eating, but i doubt it would have caused this. Surely all these people can't be eating the same food, so there must be something else linked. personally i think its stress related, only 13 but its kinda tough, been through alot recently and i haven't had these burps for over half a year, thought they had gone for good, they came back a week ago, i got stressed again yesterday and they came on again today, i think this could be the cause, not 100% certain just a thought maybe you can consider.

hope this helps
