Q: Can Zantac, by itself or combined with other medication, result in a positive drug test?

An employee was drug tested following an incident at work.  His D&A test returned a positive result.  He claimed that this positive result was due to taking Zantac.  Apparently the testing facility told him that, given the right conditions, Zantac can show up in a drug test as crystal meth (which is what he tested positive for).  I am no physician and don't profess to be, but this seems a little far-fetched to me.  I ask this question because my wife works in the same industry, and also takes Zantac to treat heartburn symptoms.
