Q: Resolving IBS Symptoms.

I am scheduled for an upper GI procedure both to examine my esophagus regarding occasional incidents of difficulty swallowing and also to biopsy my small bowel regarding possible ciliacs.  Meanwhile, further down the tube, symptoms of a probable IBS diagnosis are beginning to impact my daily function.  On mornings when I have 3-4 diarrhea bowel movements that include cramps and bloating, I literally cannot leave for work until the problem has passed (pun intended) and then I feel fine. Some weeks this happens every morning.  These episodes often are then followed by several days of no BMs.  Its difficult to 'isolate' and identify the foods that exacerbate symptoms of IBS or cause the condition to worsen.  All these symptoms seem so random.  If I can identify the human behaviors that are causing or contributing to this I am willing to change my behavior.  Can you help?
