prilosec worked great for me - i took it for 3 months and when i stopped all my symtoms came back immediately.

Hi,

Thanks for your questions. Prilosec (omeprazole) is only approved by the FDA for short-term use (4-8 weeks). If your symptoms are lasting for several months, or reappearing once you stop taking the Prilosec, you should discuss your symptoms with your doctor.
