Hi jblack89,

 

Zantac is not an antibiotic. Zantac is the brand name for the generic drug Ranitidine. Ranitidine is known as an H2 Histamine blocker and works to reduce the amount of acid in your stomach - rather than figh infections and kill harmful bacteria like an antibiotic.
