hey jblack,   I can't find any information in our Prilosec drug information guide that directly states alcholol should not be consumed while on the medication. You should probably check the warnings and precautions typically included with your prescription to double check.   But alcohol is a common trigger for reflux symptoms. It weakens the stomach muscle that typically prevents stomach acid from moving up into the esophagus. Therefore, it may be a good idea to avoid alcohol.   Having sex while on Prilosec is not a problem.
