Hi... I have been having a sharp shooting pain in my right ear for more than a week. I just recovered from a sore throat. What can be the reason for the sharp shooting pain?
It has been a long time since you posted your question, but I was wondering if you had found a diagnosis and successful treatment plan that you might want to share.
I am not a medical doctor, but a virus can cause a sore throat and ear pain. Acid reflux can also produce these symptoms. The best thing to do with any pain lasting longer than a few days is to see your doctor.
