Hello!

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a chronic condition of childhood. Medication may be needed daily or as needed to control symptoms.

I hope not, because its so hard for an adult with acid reflux, I cant imagine being a baby dealing with this. Any adult who has acid reflux, should get by from remembering that lots and lots of babies spend their first months or years of their lives dealing with this. SO SAD. God Bles them, and these babies will be in my prayers and should be in your too. But, yes I think that acid reflux can come back in babies, but not typically, and as harsh after they have it when they are young. God Bless Your Baby. Amen
