diarrhea 5 days
My 73 year old mom has had diarrhea for the past 5 days. She is in the hospital and they have no answers. She has had a colonoscopy and the endo where they go down her throat. She does not have cdiff, that has been ruled out. She is very weak and not getting better what do I do? Mom has gerd and gastrointetinalitis but she is not getting better in the hospital. And they can not tell me what she has they do not know.

I am unsure why your mother is in the hospital, but while there even though she has diarrhea, they are most likely giving her fluids to make sure she does not get too weak.
