Q: I was treated for thrush 3 times since October 2008. Upon seeing an ear, nose & throat doctor--

I was told that I did not have thrush but the problems I was experiencing (white dry tongue, increased saliva, and a scabby feeling in my throat that caused a cough) were caused by my acid reflux.  I take prilosec once a day, but I drank too much of coffee which I have cut to 8 oz a day.  I am taking 1 more dose of the medication and scheduling a scope soon.  Do these symptoms sound like acid reflux?
