Q: I have a pain in my lower right intestine or adomin when a movement passes thru that area.

I have a pain in my lower right intestine when a bowel movement passes thru that area. that is the only time that I feel it,  and it is bad enough that it makes me double over. I can feel the movement with my fingers, and I am taking oxycodone 30 mg. And I still feel the pain that bad. I know that med makes you constipated but that is not my problem,  if I do not take one after 6 pm I always have a movement the next morning. It only happens when the movement is passing thru that area. It started about a year ago and now I feel gas pass thru that area, I have been feeling that for about two weeks now, and again the pain is bad enough that it will double me over.

Sounds like my problem exactly.  Are you taking Fosamex?  I got off of the Fosamex and the pain gradually eased to where it does not make me double over any more, but sometimes I still do feel a dull ache in that area during a bowel movement.

When it first began, I went to the doctor.  He felt in that area and said everything felt normal.  He also did blood, urine, and an ultrasound of the gallbladder (uppper right area)- all came out fine.  Also, he gave me a kit to take a stool sample, which I've never done.

This all happened in Jan. 2009, it is now March 15, 2009.
