Hello!
Alvin Hopkins has written several excellent blogs about healthy eating when you have reflux. You can search this site for his posts.
Diet is very important. The common reflux trigger foods are: citrus (oranges, orange juice), tomatoes, spicy foods, caffeine and carbonated beverages. Alcohol and tobacco may be triggers too. Everyone is different so there may be other foods that seem to trigger symptoms.
Eating small, frequent meals is also very important.
I call this 'Careful Eating". Listen to your stomach and you will find a way to live with reflux and eat most of the foods you enjoy.
