For us it was better before the bottle was better. This was for a couple of reasons.

1) She was likely to spit up after eating and hopefully if the Zantac was the first thing in it had a bit of time to get in before she spit up.

2) She didn't like the taste so it helped to get her milk right after the Zantac to wash her mouth out.

Hi.Well I know what you are going thru.My 2 youngest kids had/has it.Give it no earlier than 30 mins b4 the feeding AND after the feeding keep your baby kinda upright for atleast 30 mins even if the baby falls asleep. It works great.Another thing my ped told me to do is add a little rice cereal to the formula to thicken it just a little not real thick but just to where you can see that it has something in it.I think I added like 2 tsp to 6oz every 3rd feeding. My baby was 2 months old when I started doing that.My daughter still has it at age 2 1/2 but only with certain foods and drink like lemonade and spaghetti sauce.Hers was the worst. She would bring back up everything within 15mins of eating and was a wonderful baby til ab 3wks then she cried and cried.I thought she had collick.Ped put her on Zantac and I followed his directions and she was back to her own pleasant self.Sorry for this being so long.Good luck
