In response to:
You need to discuss any mix of drugs with your doctor and/or pharmacist. That said, many doctors do prescribe Proton Pump Inhibitors such as Nexium along with H2 blockers such as Famotidine (Pepcid). I take Prevacid at night and a "booster" of Zantac in the morning when I'm having a difficult spell.   Stephanie
