My symptoms seem to come and go. Meds do not seem to make much of a difference. Main annoyances are fullness 10-20 minutes after eating. Gurgling sounds on occasion, occasional momentary voice changes that do not last. When these occur I then see gasteroenterologist. The 2 endoscopies 5 and 12 years ago were normal. I would rather not have another endoscopy. What shpould I do?

Are you taking meds? I'm surprised a doctor would have you do an endoscopy if your symptoms go away without medication. My daughter's doc only did an endo on her as a baby when she had symptoms despite meds. He wanted to make sure she was being adequately treated. Because my sons were basically symptom free on meds he didn't feel the need to do it. I'm wondering though that if the symptoms aren't helped by meds if possibly your symptoms are related to something besides GERD? I know most docs consider treating with meds as one of the diagnostic criteria - if you get better on anti-reflux meds then it confirms the diagnosis.
