Hello!

Since many medications are excreted into the breastmilk, you and the doctor will need to be very careful to choose a reflux medication if needed. Most doctors recommend trying to reduce symptoms by eating carefully with small meals and avoiding foods that trigger symptoms. Keep in mind that there are situations where reflux medications are absolutely necessary for the mother.
