Hi Tina,   The best thing to do is see your family doctor. Online resources are great for providing information to help you ask all the right questions of your doctor, but it can not take the place of your doctor's advice.   Chest pain is an uncommon symptom of acid reflux, but because chest pain can be caused by many different issues including cardiac problems, it is really best to see your doctor to make sure there is nothing serious going on.   In the meantime, if you think you might have acid reflux, you can read about the symptoms of acid reflux here in the symptoms database. You can read about available treatments here, and if you have been prescribed a medication, you can check that out here in the drugs database.   I hope this helps. Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!!   Vicki M
