Q: the Army Clinic I go to does not have Aciphex, What can I use in place of Aciphex?

My Dr & I have tried all over the counter meds & only aciphex helps.

Is there any thing I can talk with my Dr. about?

Thank you

Hello! Aciphex is a proton pump inhibitor so the equivalent medications are:

Prevacid, Prilosec and Nexium. Check with the drug manufacturers for coupons, rebates, etc. I know these medications are costly.
