Q: can you take gaviscon and bentyl at same time

I have IBS and have terrible pain for last couple of days - taking bentyl and wondered if gaviscon would help also, but I seem to remember you can't take it when you are on bentyl.

You should always talk to your doctor or pharmacist when wondering about combining medications. Gaviscon's drug information does not specifically warn against taking it if you are taking Bentyl (dicyclomine). However, only your doctor or pharmacist can really say if it's safe for you.
