Hi Virginia,

Arm and neck numbness are not symptoms for Acid Reflux. You can read the symptoms for acid reflux here in the symptoms database. You might want to see your doctor. Numbness indicates a nerve issue, either pinched or otherwise damaged.

Take care and good luck!

It may not be an "official" symptom but I have numbness issues that I believe are related to my acid reflux. I have laryngopharengial reflux (irritation gets all the way up to my throat)  When I have eaten things I shouldn't or havn't been good about medications I have numbness issues in face first and then it can continue to arms and even my leg if I don't correct what I am eating/doing.  I am convinced it is related.  I am not a doctor but after a complete neurological workup and no answers from doctors I am assuming it is related to some type of inflamation that is pushing on a nerve somewhere.  Now that I am reading about others with similiar issues I am even more convinced.
