I experience heartburn-like symptoms frequently. At first I thought I had heart problems, but after a couple of trips to the ER my physician says it could be heartburn or GERD. I get heartburn at the strangest times, when I workout, when I am still hungry, and when waking up. Is this still heartburn or another problem my doctor is unaware of?
I often have increased heartburn at the same times you describe. Working out can be difficult for me to schedule. It has to be long enough after I ate but not so long that I'm hungry.
