Hi ladarrius crawford,   Has the baby been diagnosed by a doctor to have Acid Reflux? Online sites are great resources for information, but can not take the place of your doctor's advice and care. Once your baby has been diagnosed, there are some links here that will help you ask questions and manage your baby's care.   Here are a list of symptoms of a child with GERD.   If a baby stops breathing, whether older sibling, or not, someone should call 911. I am not sure I would advise an older sibling to do anything other than that, unless the older sibling is trained in infant CPR. Sometimes infants have episodes of sleep apnea, where they just forget to breathe. In those cases, a mild shaking of the leg or arm will usually wake the child and cause he or she to breathe in.   Here is a link to information about sleep apnea.   Good luck. I hope this helps somewhat. Please stay in touch and let us know how you and the baby are doing!   Vicki M
