Q: I have phlegm buildup, belching that can last 15 minutes and occur hrs after eating, urgent bowel movements and shortness of breath. Any ideas?

The belching seems to come on at any time, especially b.ad after being out in cold weather -10C. The phlegm is a light color. Doctor gave me prednizone and Dom-domperidone. I take reatine and have a salbutanol puffer. Mostly ineffective

I think it sounds like you have a lot going on! You may want to read up more about the symptoms of reflux as well as the preventive treatment and medications. It sounds like from your prescriptions that your doctor is treating both respiratory and GI issues. The domperidone does have the possible side effect of the urgent bowel movements so if that's new you should talk to your doctor about it. If it's not new you may want to read about irritable bowel syndrome. In the end though what it really comes down to is that your symptoms aren't being adequately treated at this time so it's time to go back to your doc and let him know where things stand.
