Hi Rab123,   Persistant pain with no obvious cause is reason enough to see your doctor. While it might just be a false alarm, it could be something really serious. It's best to err on the side of caution. Once you have seen your doctor, if he prescribes medication for GERD, you can read about them here in the drugs database.
