Q: I often get dizzy and light headed after a meal, why?

I check my BG and it is always normal, I am not diabetic either. I sometimes get somewhat of a tunnel vision. I'm only a 22yom.

That is a link to information about hypotension (low blood pressure). Have you ever had your blood pressure checked when you are dizzy? Postprandial hypotension (Low blood pressure after a meal) is common in the elderly and considered rare in the young but it may be more common than realized if it's not severe enough to be reported.

Good Luck - Stephanie

Thank you, I'll give 'er a shot. I usually run pretty low anyway so it's entirely possible, average about 100/60's. I'm pretty active and healthy, so it bothers me that I'm having troubles.
