Q: how do u know heartburn and heart attack?In which instance does ur heart feel like it want to burse?

Tia, If you are having chest pain, it is always best to go to the emergency department or your doctor without delay. Sometimes it is very difficult to tell the difference between chest pain from a heart attack and GERD.

I agree, any chest pain must first be checked out by a doctor. In any case, I have heard that heart attack pain is actually more towards the center of the chest - and a heart attack is much bigger. GERD chest pain is moderate (I know, it is difficult to tell the difference if you are new to this). Just don't panic, and go see a doctor.
