I have tightness in my thoat sometime feel needle pinch in throat and numbness in my ears.I get more burps after meal.Do I need to consult ENT specialist.my primary care doctor put me on prilosec (PPI) since from week but how long do i need take medication?

Did the Prilosec help? If not, then you should go back to your primary and check in with him to let him know it didn't work. If it did work and if that was your only symptom you may want to check in with your doctor to see how long he wants you on the Prilosec. If you are symptom free now he may want you to go off and see what happens. On the other hand he may want you to stay on it for a couple of weeks to fully let your throat heal.
