Hello Ivan,   It is possible that the acid reflux is causing problems with your throat and your feeling of having a lump. In the acid reflux symptoms database, there are different conditions. Here is an excerpt: Symptoms in the Throat. Less commonly, GERD may produce symptoms that occur in the throat: * Acid laryngitis. A condition that includes hoarseness, dry cough, the sensation of having a lump in the throat, and the need to repeatedly clear the throat. * Trouble swallowing (dysphagia). In severe cases, patients may even choke or food may become trapped in the esophagus, causing severe chest pain. This may indicate a temporary spasm that narrows the tube, or it could also be an indication of serious esophageal damage or abnormalities.   You can read the entire article here.   Remember, online sites are great resources for information so that you are able to ask the important questions that will help you manage your healthcare, however they can not take the place of your doctor's solid medical advice. Only you and your doctor know how to best manage your health. Hope this helps. Take care and stay in touch and let us know how you are doing!Vicki M
