I have never heard of an orange tongue due to reflux but that certainly does not mean it can't happen. I know that my Mom and my daughter both say that their tongues burn when they are having more problems with reflux.

Did he eat a lot of orange baby food though? My niece's nose was orange due to the carrots and sweet potatoes she ate and my nephew looked slightly orange all over.

Your response really intrigued me since it started so early. I did a google search and still couldn't find any answers. Interestingly though there are a lot of people asking the same question on the web in various sites. How long did it last? Did you have to do anything to get rid of it? I even did a medical journal search on PubMed with no results.

I wish I had more answers as it seems like a common question.

Doctors again did not have a clue what it was ,we came to the conclusion that it was stain left by the reflux it came and went with the severity of the refllux ,when he was six months old and starting solids the orange toung stoped but the reflux cycle continud .Have you herd of infants with a cycle of feflux, then sylavia, then ear infections.
