I felt the same  way a week ago. I found myself in the ER thinking that I was having a heart attack. After two trips it was determined that I have acid reflux. I'm now on nexium (Rx) along with Mylanta (xtra-strength). What has help me is drinking organic apple juice, and eating apples. I also work-out for an hour (walking really helps). You have to also watch what you eat as there are trigger foods that can cause what I call a "reflux episode". Please research what these foods are (too many to name). Also, when you do eat try to limit your portions by eating 6 small meals a day. Just remember, acid reflux didn't appear in a day and it won't leave in one. Hope you can get clinically diagnosed soon and if it is acid reflex the above info should help.
